It is also our way of expressing our commitment and responsibility to preserve and save our earth through proper solid waste management and recycling. What is Solid Waste Management? It is a system of proper waste handling that ensures the preservation of the environment and facilitates the sanitary retrieval, reuse and recycling of resource materials. Waste and garbage are not the same. Segregated waste is a Resource while unsegregated waste is Garbage. Waste segregated at source immediately prevents garbage generation. What is Recycling? When you make something new out of something that you have already used, you recycle. By sorting your glass, papers, metals, plastic for collection you are taking part in the first step of recycling. We Buy Metals	Tin-coated cans such as fruit and sardine cans are made of iron ore and tin which are non-renewable resources. Throwing them away is a waste of valuable resources. If they are not recycled, they eventually rust and break down. Making new aluminum cans from old ones requires only five percent (5%) as much energy as it does to make new cans from the mineral ore. Metals can be recycled again and again.
