Company Profile	In 2003, Yosemite Enterprises* started getting into the production of 100% Abaca Handmade Paper (HMP) and converting it into artistic and useful products. Its aim is to produce a product that is unique, beautiful, environment friendly, and provide a means of livelihood to those who are unemployed. After a year of trial run and product development, YE started marketing its products in 2004. Since then, it has been serving some shops, wedding planners/ event coordinators and brides and grooms. In 2005, Yosemite joined Center for Small Entrepeneurs (CSE), a non profit organization that provides trainings and workshops to help micro-entrepeneurs grow its enterprise, promote and spread the spirit of entrepeneurship in the country, alleviate poverty and become entrepeneurs for others. Hence, in 2006, YE became bolder to breakthrough bigger markets such as malls and big schools. To serve their requirements on time, more neighboring out of job men/ women and out of school youth were trained and provided with job opportunities. During trainings, quality output were emphasized. Character and some values formation learned from CSE were, likewise, integrated. YE is still striving to capture its new niche, continous market and improve its operation. But with the Divine Providence, CSE’s help and the support of other Ka-Entrep, some concerns are handled in different and better perspective. While YE is now continuously serving the needs of its market, YE is always entrusting everything to God to make YE’s vision and advocacies, through its products, contribute something to our society and make a difference: • Help Save The Earth ( Abaca is a shrub, thus, No Trees were cut to make the abaca HMP), and • Use Filipino made products ( Help Rebuild our Economy) and create more job opportunities to our countrymen and alleviate poverty. ------------------ *Yosemite Enterprises was initially registered in 1996, as a single proprietor, engaged in the trading of embroidered barongs and gowns and other embroidered items. To simplify the start up of the manufacturing operation of the Abaca Handmade Paper, the former registration status of Yosemite Enterprises was just maintained and continued.
